A FARNBOROUGH youngster's application for a lottery grant has clicked with those who dole out the money.

University student Karina Fraser has been given £3060 to organise an exhibition which explores the world of digital photography.

She intends to invite Rushmoor people to submit both photographs taken with digital cameras, and digitally enhanced pictures.

"The exhibition will explore the effect digitalisation has had on our lives," said 20-year-old Karina, of Alexandra Road, Farnborough.

"The challenge for me will be getting participants who aren't already involved in art".

If everything goes according to plan, she hopes to have the exhibition ready by November.

She received the grant through the Your Shout Millennium Awards scheme - a partnership project between Hampshire County Council and the Millennium Commission.
