Is anyone out there looking for an ace journalist or PR man?

Nigel Kendall needs a job now that his daughter Katherine has recovered from her neurosurgery.

Nigel, an experienced journalist, put his career on hold a few years ago in order to devote himself exclusively to his daughter's interests. His communication skills were put to the test when he started the Katherine Appeal to raise cash for Katherine's neurosurgery in the US.

He kept the appeal before the public eye by supplying the Star with fresh stories, events, updates and pictures until the target was reached. He also started an appeal website and will continue to lobby for the American operation to be made available for sufferers in Britain.

It took the family nearly two years to raise the money for Katherine's surgery and then they spent weeks at her bedside in Omaha, Nebraska, before returning to their home at 10 Chartwell, Frimley Green.

Now life is getting back to normal, and Nigel is ready to go back to work.

A talented writer, photographer and graphic designer, he has edited prestigious magazines and is also adept at web design.

Anyone interested in his freelance services in writing, editing, proof-reading etc can ring him on 01252 836880 or 07946 398648 or email him on nigel.kendall@tesco.net
