A 14-year-old Sandhurst girl has been charged after a brick was thrown from a bridge over the M3 motorway.
She was jointly charged with a 12-year-old boy from Farnborough with damaging property with intent to endanger life. Neither can be named for legal reasons.
The charges follow an incident on Sunday, May 4, when an object was hurled from Medway Drive side of Fintry Walk bridge in Farnborough.
It struck the roof of an Iveco cargo lorry which was travelling on the southbound carriageway. No one was hurt in the incident.
They were bailed to appear at Basingstoke Youth Court, in Hampshire, today (May 14).
