HOLD on to those tickets! That's the plea from the organisers of last month's Gurkha band charity concert abruptly brought to a halt when the Harlington Centre in Fleet was blacked out by a power cut.

The Friends of the Gurkhas (North East Hants) has now managed to get a new date for the concert -Friday, May 30 next year. New tickets will be available at the centre from February 1 to March 22 and these will be handed over free to concertgoers who kept their half tickets from the cancelled show.

Says committee member Peter Shoesmith: "Everyone will be issued with the same ticket number they had before. If there are any unclaimed after March 22 they will be offered for sale."

Exact times of the concert and more details will be available later from the Harlington Centre or through the Star.
