RUSHMOOR Mayor Charles Choudhary is hosting a variety evening at the Princes Hall, Aldershot, on Thursday, March 14.

Music, magic, song, dance and comedy are all on the agenda in a show to capture the public's imagination. The Alder Valley Brass Band, who performed at the Princes Hall in December, make a welcome return, as do panto comedians Ricky and Robert.

Dance comes from the Dunlop School of Irish Dancing, the Farnborough Sixth Form College Dance Company and the Yateley Morris Men, with a variety of songs from the Hart Male Voice Choir, Prudence McDowall, and "Mr Aldershot" himself, Terry Owens, an Aldershot Town director.

"We've put together a top quality show, with something for everyone", said the Mayor. "I'm confident the evening will prove a great success and provide much needed funds for a coronary care bed at Frimley Park Hospital."

The show starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 14. Tickets are priced at £5 and are available from the Princes Hall Box Office on 01252 329155.
