A STRESS management consultant from Sandhurst who is doing a trek in Nepal in aid of Cancer Research UK will be donating half her consultancy fee to the cause.
Alexia Bylett of Peggotty Place, who works from home, says she will donate half the money from her relaxation treatments which include Indian head massage and life coaching.
The 34-year-old is training hard for the 12-day challenge, which starts on November
27, and she is looking forward to the trek with some trepidation.
Before she can embark on the trip, she will need to
raise a minimum of £3,000 sponsorship for Cancer Research UK.
Alexia said: "I have already raised about £1,000, but by donating half the money I get from my customers I am
hoping to boost that total quite quickly."
Cancer Research UK is
the largest independent organisation in the world, with a team of 3,000 scientists and doctors and an annual research budget in excess of £176 million.
Cancer Research hopes to sign up at least 35 people for this exciting challenge.
The money raised will be an important contribution to the challenge of finding a cure for cancer.
