A group of newspaper delivery boys from Fleet got on their bikes and raised over £1000 for charity.
The boys, all aged 13 and 14, work for Martin's newsagents in Fleet Road (formerly Fourbouys) and are students at Calthorpe and Courtmoor schools.
The company's official charity is the Royal Marsden Hospital and staff got together to decide how they could help raise funds.
The boys suggested a cycle ride and ended up doing a 40 mile round trip from Fleet Pond to Woking. The total raised was £1051.
Staff who could not join in the cycling held a face painting day at the Fleet shop.
The firm's 1200 branches aim to raise £100,000 for the hospital.
