A THIEF stole a Vauxhall Cavalier from Frimley Park Hospital's car park while the owner was undergoing an operation.

The car was found by a police patrol in Wilton Road on Sunday - three days after it had been left outside the hospital. Before abandoning the vehicle, the "joy riders" smashed its windows and dented the bodywork.

Another car, a Ford Escort with a Cosworth body kit, was stolen from France Hill Drive, Camberley, last Thursday evening.

The vehicle, valued at £3000, was discovered two days later burnt out in Guildford.

Thieves also stole a red Vauxhall Vectra - M501HOY - from Deer Rock Road, Camberley, overnight last Saturday. The car, said to be worth £5,900, was still missing this week.
