A PENSIONER suffered a fractured shoulder and cuts and bruises after she was attacked and robbed by two teenage girls on Monday evening.

The widower, who lives in the North Camp area, was accosted by the two girls on the corner of Alexandra Road and Reading Road at around 6pm.

The attackers, both white, pretty and around 18 years old, punched the pensioner and kicked her to the ground before snatching her handbag containing £15 and some personal items and running off down Reading Road towards Farnborough airfield.

The victim described one of her assailants as being about 5ft 6ins, slim with dark hair and wearing a long beige coat with a fur collar, and the other as 5ft 2ins, also slim with dark hair, wearing a blue jacket and skirt.

A police spokesman said: “We have not seen a similar crime like this in Rushmoor. We have checked the immediate area and are asking for witnesses or anyone who finds the bag, which has a green and pink pattern on the side, to contact us.”
