A GANG of seven teenagers was pursued by a Catholic priest through the streets of Frimley after they had been foiled in attempt to steal large quantities of booze from his church.

It was on Friday afternoon when a parishioner came across the gang who had stacked up lager, cider, wine and spirits at Our Lady Queen of Heaven church. The priest trailed them to Waitrose where he lost them. The group comprised four youths and three girls aged around 14-16. One of the girls was said to be plump and the other short. If you know who they are ring PC Alex Smith on 01276 27131.
