Sport Relief success as area's children rise to the challenge

Thousands of people took part in Sport Relief events, from sponsored runs to sports days, and all in the name of charity

Schoolchildren across north-east Hampshire pulled on their trainers and jogging bottoms to take on a host of Sport Relief activities.

The Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games took place from Friday to Sunday, raising a huge total of more than £53m nationally.

Youngsters took part in lots of Sport Relief fundraising challenges to do their bit for the appeal.

 

At Farnborough Grange Nursery and Infant School, pupils dressed up to complete a Sport Relief Mile run around the school field.

And just up the road at Fernhill Primary School, children also got involved by taking part in a range of sporting activities.

Sport was the word at Newlands Primary School, in Yateley, where kids were also doing their bit for charity.
