WESTFIELDS Junior School in Yateley is celebrating its latest sporting success -it has become one of only ten Hampshire schools over the past two years to be awarded an Activemark by Sport England.

The plaque recognises Westfields' commitment and dedication to physical education and activity both during and after school hours.

The school provides a wide range of sports including gymnastics, dancing, swimming, rugby, biathlon, outdoor pursuits, rounders, cricket, football, netball and athletics.

Following a rigorous application process the school was able to show that it offered a well balanced physical education programme together with an environment that encouraged physical activity.
