Frogmore Community College students arriving for their Leavers' Ball arrived in style in limousines, a double decker bus - and a 1920 steam wagon.

Robert Deering is pictured after arriving at the party in the wagon, owned by Martin Fagg of Farnborough.

A candle-lit dinner at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Frimley was followed by speeches and presentations. Robin Milner, Head of Year 11, praised the students for their achievements and the students thanked their tutors and teachers for the support they had given over the five years.

Then students danced the rest of the evening away. The day of the ball was the last full day of lessons before the start of the GCSE exams.

Said Headteacher Peter Green: "Our students have been a real credit to us. Their behaviour on this evening was mature and admirable in every respect and they were a pleasure to be with. We are very proud of them."
