A house which has been empty for more than 15 years has been brought back into use with the help of a grant from Rushmoor Council.
A social housing grant was given to Hyde Housing Association to help towards the refurbishment of 98 West Heath Road, Cove.
The house had been empty for more than 15 years, despite numerous attempts by the council to encourage the owner to bring it back into use.
Now the three bedroom house is ready to let to one of the area's many families who need a home.
Coun David Welch, the Cabinet Member for Community, said: "We need to do everything we can to bring empty homes back into use. These properties cannot just be left empty when there are people desperate for homes."
