POLICE at Frimley Green are looking for a man whose idea of bringing home the bacon is to walk into a store and steal it.
He struck twice at the One Stop store by the Green on Sunday and Monday afternoons.
He first went into the store at about 5.30 pm on Sunday when he loaded up a green carrier bag with 17 packets of bacon and two packets of Tetley teabags. He was described then as being about 20 with short, dark hair and wearing a full-length dark coat with panels on the sleeves and black trousers or jogging bottoms.
On Monday afternoon he strode straight to the freezer and stole pre-packed ham. On this occasion he was said to be about 30, but police believe it was the same thief. He had dark hair and a pale complexion and was about 5ft 10 ins tall. Contact PC Michael Pace on 01276 27131 if you think you know who he is.
