AN ARTISTIC Church Crookham youngster is hoping his drawing skills will earn him a family holiday to America.

Eight-year-old William Fulcher is a regional winner and finalist in a national children's art competition, sponsored by Ribena and local store group Londis.

More than 1,000 children aged under 12 sent in pictures of their favourite memory.

William's coloured pencil and felt-tip drawing of himself looking at sharks in an aquarium caught the judges eyes.

If William manages to scoop the main prize — a family holiday to Florida — his winning drawing will be reproduced on 27 million Londis carrier bags and on their delivery lorries.

William is pictured above with his winning drawing, receiving his prize of family UK theme park tickets and £10 spending money from Graham Brown, who is owner of the Londis store in Church Crookham.
