Photographs to represent Aldershot through the seasons selected for charity calendar
This autumnal shot bursting full of colour is among 12 stunning images of Aldershot that have been chosen to create next year's charity calendar.
The photo, by Alison Jepp, will be used as October's picture in the 2014 Aldershot Calendar, which will be sold for charity from early next month and will be hung on walls across the borough in 12 months' time.
Rushmoor Borough Council creates a calendar every year, using photos representing Aldershot through the seasons sent in by members of the public.
The calendar was this year sponsored by the Wellington Shopping Centre and the winners have been chosen from almost 100 entries.
Images include the Aldershot Garrison Church in the sunshine, a flower-laden Princes Gardens bandstand and the Wellington Statue against a dusk sky in winter.
Carla Dale, town centre and cultural officer at the council, said: "It was a really hard decision, but the winners have been chosen and notified.
"The quality was really high this year."
This year all money raised will go to Frimley Park Hospital Breast Cancer Appeal.
Last year, more than £700 was raised for Aldershot charity Parkside, which supports people with disabilities.
The Aldershot Calendar, costing £5, will be available from the Princes Hall, Rushmoor Borough Council offices in Farnborough, and from selected town centre shops.
