NINE people were arrested in Camberley town centre last month after being targeted by CCTV cameras.
Four were shoplifters, three of whom were working as a team one Saturday afternoon.
They ran off after being challenged, but the cameras tracked them until their arrest.
Of the other arrests, one was a man later charged with drug offences at a nightclub.
Another arrest was for assault after an incident outside the Litten Tree pub.
The other three were arrested for separate assaults and public order offences.
Specially trained police officers monitor the cameras at Woking which is also linked to the system.
