Yateley from above - how town developments looked in 1970

See how Yateley looked from the skies more than 40 years ago with these amazing archive aerial images from 1970

These wonderful archive aerial shots show the changing face of Yateley around more than 40 years ago.

The black and white shots show parts of the growing town, taken in the summer of 1970, as development takes place.

Yateley School, Yateley library, Westfields Junior School and Westfields Infant School can be seen in the snaps along with new homes and residential roads being built nearby.

We'd love to see any old photos or aerial snaps you have of the towns and villages in north-east Hampshire. Send them to us by emailing the digital team , tweeting @GetHampshire , posting on our Facebook page or sharing via Flickr .
