Friday, September 12

  • Art exhibition of the Frimley & Camberley Society of Arts at High Cross Church, Knoll Road, Camberley, from 9.30am to 5pm.
  • Open weekend at the Medieval Great Barn and ancient church at Wanborough, from 10am to 5pm until Sunday. Refreshments
    available, free tour and exhibition.

Saturday, September 13

  • Art exhibition (as above).
  • Car wash day to support the Fire Fighters Charity, at Rushmoor Fire Station in Lynchford Road, Farnborough, from 10am to 4pm.
  • Tongham Christian Fellowship, Poyle Road, Tongham, weekend conference with Dr Don Hender and Dr Stephen Boreland, 10.30am to 4.30pm. Bring a packed lunch. All welcome. Sunday from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
  • Farnborough Craft Guild craft show at St Peter's Church Hall, Frimley Green Road, Frimley, 10am to 4pm.
  • West End, Windlesham and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society annual show at  Tringham Hall, Benner Lane, West End, Woking, at 2pm.

Sunday, September 14

  • Songs of Praise in the marquee at Tringham Hall, West End, at 6pm, with the Bisley Almac band accompanying the singing.

Tuesday, September 16

  • Alpha course at St Francis Church, Upper Chobham Road, Frimley. Details from Myra on 01276 26494.
  • Civil Service Retirement Fellowship, Baptist Church Hall, Clarence Road, Fleet, at 2.15pm, for a show and tell session.

Wednesday, September 17

  • Fleet U3A, Harlington Centre, Fleet, at 10.45am for a talk called ‘A Policing Experience’ by Kenneth Exworth.
  • Hear the fascinating story of the Longmoor Military Railway told by Colin Wells, formerly of the Royal Engineers, at the Aldershot Military Museum in Queens Avenue, at 7.30pm. Admission £3.
