A FOOTBALL shirt signed by Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is just one of the auction items up for grabs at a charity ball.

One of Madonna’s gold discs can be won during the event at The Four Seasons Hotel in Dogmersfield on August 16.

An evening of top entertainment is promised at the Handbags and Gladrags Charity Ball, hosted by magician Fay Presto and DJ and compere Jodie Harsh.

As well as the auction, a raffle and casino, the ticket price includes a champagne reception and a four-course dinner including wine and goodie bags donated by L’Oreal.

Star auction lots include a Ronaldo number 7 shirt with a picture of the player signing it, a boxing montage featuring world champion Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton, a Star Trek montage signed by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, and a Formula 1 racing montage signed by Lewis Hamilton.

The proceeds from the ball will be donated to Body and Soul, a UK charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of children, teenagers and families living with or closely affected by HIV.
