TWO sisters make heads turn whenever they go out walking.

All the attention is due to their unusual choice of companions.

Kathia Underwood, co-owner of Pets Quest, in Lynchford Road, North Camp, walks huge Great Dane Izzy, while sister Jessica MacGregor, of Aldershot, walks tiny Chihuahua/Yorkie cross Lu Lu.

Great Dane Izzy weighs about 45kg, while little Lu Lu weighs only about 3kg.

Kathia, who has worked at Pets Quest for 14 years, and owned it with her mum Jan MacGregor for three years, was given Izzy as a gift from her husband on their fifth wedding anniversary.

Jessica, of Lower Farnham Road, Aldershot, works part-time at the shop. She got Lu Lu a few months after Kathia got Izzy; when she first laid eyes on her it was love at first sight.

Though they’re clearly very different, the two pooches get along just fine.

The two sisters, who are very close, didn’t question putting the two dogs together.

Kathia, of Lynchford Road, said: “We just thought well, they’re dogs and they’ll get on and they do.”

Despite the size difference, their personalities are very similar.

“One’s a gentle giant and the other’s a gentle little one,” said Kathia.

The dogs are very popular with the community. Some visitors to Pets Quest are only there for a cuddle or a slobber, said Kathia.
