A new Cody Pavilion is taking shape at the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museum.

The dome is being erected in preparation for celebrations to mark the centenary of the first flight of an aeroplane in Great Britain.

The replica is of the aircraft, which made that historic flight at Farnborough, was piloted by Samuel Franklin Cody on October 16, 1908.

The new pavilion will be formally opened during the morning of October 16. After this the replica aircraft will be on permanent display and open to the general public.
