A man arrested in conection with a drugs raid at an Aldershot hotel has been bailed by police.

The 57-year-old was arrested on Monday morning after officers stormed into the Queen Hotel in High Street at 8.30am.

He is due to report back to Aldershot police station on December 15.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team, Force Support Unit, Dog Unit, licensing and the Tasking Team conducted the raid as part of an ongoing operation targeting drugs and acquisitive crime in the area.

The hotel is still open for business.
