Police are hunting a man who went to look at buying a motorcycle but ended up riding it away.

The thief went to view the high-powered bike at an address in Sheldons Road, Hook, between 4pm and 4.45pm on November 18.

The bike is a blue and white Suzuki GSXR superbike worth around £3,400.

The man is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall and had short, dark brown hair.

He was of slender build and wore a black jacket and jeans. He was not wearing a helmet when he rode off.

Pc Stacy Beale of the Hook Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “Were you in the area at the time and did you witness a man riding a motorcycle without a helmet?
“Did you see a blue and white motorcycle being loaded into the back of a van or onto a trailer?

“If you have any information, however insignificant it may seem, contact police as soon as possible.”
