Man arrested following Ewshot crash

A 29-year-old Aldershot man was arrested on Friday, January 2, in connection with a two-vehicle collision on the B3013 Beacon Hill Road, Ewshot, on Wednesday December 17.
Following his release from hospital, he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol and assault causing grievous bodily harm. He was bailed, pending further enquiries, to return to Farnborough police station on February 6.
During the incident, a Ford Mondeo collided head-on with a Vauxhall Astra.
The 38-year-old Farnham woman, who was driving the Astra, remains in hospital, where she is being treated for spinal injuries. Her daughters, aged four and nine, were released from hospital after treatment for serious injuries.
