A ROAD rage incident in Farnborough has prompted a police investigation.

A man was "aggressive and intimidating" to a woman after their cars crashed at Farnborough Gate Retail Park on November 7 at around 1.45pm, Hampshire police said.

Police now want witnesses to the crash and the incident afterwards to come forwards.

People at the scene witnessed the crash and the conversation but left before the police arrived, they said.

Busy Saturday

The man drove a green Ford Mondeo and the woman drove a yellow Toyota MR2.

Pc Luke Hyder, a Farnborough police officer, said in a statement: "This happened during a busy Saturday afternoon when lots of people were around.

"We have been told that many people witnessed the collision and the subsequent conversation between the two drivers, but that these witnesses did not leave their details prior to police attendance."

Anyone with any information should contact Pc Hyder at Farnborough police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Callers from outside Hampshire can call 0845 0454545.
