A TEENAGER was stabbed in the face on Wednesday in an attack that police believe was targeted.

A 19-year-old man was walking at around 9.50pm on February 3 down Alexandra Road, Farnborough when his attacker approached him.

This man spoke to the victim and then pulled a knife from his pocket and cut him on the side of his face.

The victim was taken to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment.

Police said the attacker was white, wore a black hoodie with the hood up, black jeans and a dark scarf covering his face.

'Targeted assault'

Farnborough PC Tim Willis, said in a statement: “We believe this assault was targeted and was not a random attack.

“Although it happened late in the evening someone may have been driving along the road and seen the person responsible.

“We would ask anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information can contact PC Willis at Farnborough police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
