Yateley community transport bus gets cash grant

COMMUNITY transport service Yelabus has been awarded a grant of £1,000 by Blackwater and Hawley Town Council.

Councillors unanimously agreed to supply the funds on the grounds that there are a number of people in the Blackwater and Hawley area who use the Yateley-based service.

The money will go some way to extending the Yelabus, a free service for elderly and infirm people, which relies on donations from local authorities.
