Part of man's ear severed in pub attack
June 30, 2010
A MAN had part of his ear ripped off during an assault at a pub on Sunday evening.
Between 7pm and 8.30pm, the 26-year-old victim was attacked at The Albion pub in Waterloo Road, Aldershot.
He suffered head injuries and a severed ear lobe, police said.
PC Terence Read, from the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: "We believe several people were involved in this incident and there were many more people at the pub at the time.
"We would ask anyone who was there and witnessed it to come forward and contact us as soon as possible."
A 26-year-old man from Aldershot and a 31-year-old man from Bracknell have been arrested and bailed.
Anyone with information can contact PC Read at Farnborough police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The government should look at the lessons learned - reducing numbers of army personnel has created a vacuum, lack of investment in the town has meant that the vacuum is being filled by the 'socially deprived'.
Savage cuts, more relocation of military and the civil service risks creating more towns like Aldershot.
