Boy, 13, missing from Aldershot home for a week

A BOY has been missing from his Aldershot home for a week, police have said.

Officers are now asking people for information to trace 13-year-old Declan Furlong, who hasn't been home to his father's address in Ascot Court, Aldershot, since Thursday, September 8.

Declan didn't return home on that date and hasn't been seen since, although officers believe he may still be in Aldershot.

He is white, about 5ft 7ins tall and of a medium build. He was last seen wearing white Duffer boots and blue jeans.

PC Justin Mortimer said: “It is believed that Declan is in the Aldershot area but I would like to speak to anyone who has seen him or know where he is.

“Equally I would like to hear from Declan himself.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Aldershot police station on 101 or via the website www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/contact/message_officer.htm

You can also call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously. Minicom users can call 01962 875000.
