Aldershot Town sells final ticket for Man Utd game
By Pete CastleOctober 21, 2011
THE last ticket for Tuesday's game between the Shots and Manchester United has been sold.
The 7,359th ticket was sold this morning, two days before Aldershot Town's box office was due to put the tickets on general sale, and four days before kick-off.
The sell-out was expected, but the speed in which the tickets were snapped up will be a bonus for the club, which has been selling the tickets as 'bundles' along with tickets to two more League home games, in an effort to give the club's home attendance a long-term boost.

If you don’t like it Canadian....then don’t buy it.
They could of easily raised the price to £50.00 for just this one game, the glory hunters would still of come, but this is a far better way, this way you get 3 games for the same £50.00.......well done ATFC. I and everyone regular ATFC fan that I know thinks you have done things the correct way...........come on you Shots

He was delighted to get the ticket and also pleasantly surprised by the club management offering tea, snacks and fruit to those in the queue.
Such action is nicely consistent with the family and community values of Aldershot Town and is one of the many aspects that separate Aldershot from other league clubs.
I do not think that the same would happen at Old Trafford or the Emirates or even at St Marys.
Well done to the Shots management team and let us hope that they do the same when selling their fifth round tickets!!!!
