Appeal after attempted robbery in village

POLICE are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Church Crookham.
The incident happened as a 45-year-old woman walking home crossed Reading Road South into Pine Grove at about 10pm on Sunday (January 15).
The woman was pushed from behind and fell to the ground and felt someone trying to take her phone which she was holding in her hand.
She did not see her attacker so cannot say whether it was a man or a woman.
The woman suffered injuries to her face, knees and wrist.
Detective Constable Graham Robson is keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in the area at the time.
