Rushmoor Lotto winner still unknown

By Stephanie Cockroft
February 14, 2012

A WINNING New Year's Eve lottery ticket worth more than £77,000 has still not been claimed.

The ticket, which was bought in Rushmoor, matched the five numbers and the bonus ball which came out in the draw on 31 December 2011.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 7, 11, 37, 38, 42 and 44. The bonus ball was 2.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this missing ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this really could be the best way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and show your partner how special they really are.

“We have the champagne on ice and a dozen red roses at hand, as well as our fingers crossed, that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

The ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on June 28 to come forward and make their claim.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the money and all the interest it has generated will go to the lottery's good causes.
