THREE sisters are performing a showcase this weekend in Aldershot that shows off the work of a Farnborough dance studio.

The Renton Dance Studio is performing a showcase at the Princes Hall in Aldershot on Sunday and it stars Danielle Cato, 24, Ashleigh Cato, 22, and Nicole Cato, 20.

The Cato sisters all began training at the studio. Danielle went on to train at the Royal Ballet School and was a finalist in the BBC series So You Think You Can Dance.

She has performed in the West End and is rehearsing a new musical Vampirette which will premier in Manchester.

After gaining a degree, Ashleigh got a job performing on a cruise ship sailing the Caribbean.

Nicole also trained at the Royal Ballet School and was accepted into the Scottish Ballet Company. She is appearing in the West End in Phantom Of The Opera.

Last year's show raised £1,000 for The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and £500 to Lauren’s Wishes,

This time the studio is trying to raise money to improve the dance school facilities by installing a professional Harlequin sprung floor which will reduce stresses on ankle and knee joints by ensuring safe landings for the dancers.

“The cost is estimated to be £13,000 so we will but fund raising for some time,” principal Senta Renton said.

The showcase is at 3pm at the Princes Hall on May 27. Tickets are £15 for adults and £12 for concessions. For tickets, ring the box office on 01252 329155.
