Plea for information on alleged sex assault

DETECTIVES are continuing to investigate an allegation of a serious sexual assault in Blackwater.
A 15-year-old girl reported to police that sometime between 6pm and 7.30pm on Monday (November 12), she was assaulted in a wooded area near Darby Green Road.
Enquiries to establish the exact circumstances of the incident are continuing.
Detective inspector Darren Barrett said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area near to Darby Green Road on Monday evening.
“I am particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been out walking their dog in this area on Monday evening.
“Did you see or hear anything unusual?
"Even the smallest piece of information could assist this investigation.”
Officers have been conducting reassurance patrols in the area since this incident was reported and these continued over the weekend.
Anyone with any information should contact Aldershot CID on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity, anonymously and free of charge, on 0800 555 111.
Three people have been arrested in connection with this incident, a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man, all from Yateley.
They have all been released on bail until January 9, pending further enquiries.
