Man denies 'lewd acts' with 13 year old in US

A FLEET man has denied having sexual encounters in the United States with a 13-year-old girl he reportedly met online.
Adam James Michael Robinson is accused of committing a "lewd act upon a child" six times between December 15 and December 23, court documents in the US reveal.
The 21-year-old is accused of meeting the girl online with the alleged offences taking place in a motel in Redlands, California.
He appeared in San Bernardino Superior Court in California on New Year's Eve to deny all six charges. A defence lawyer was appointed to represent him and bail was set at £620,000.
Mr Robinson will appear at a further hearing at the same court on January 9.
Papers prepared for the Californian court allege four of the offences took place on December 15 with two others on December 23.
