Pizza delivery man robbed at knifepoint

AN Aldershot pizza delivery man was robbed at knifepoint after being called to a house in Ash Vale.

The driver from Pizza Go Go, in Union Street, is recovering after the incident in Cypress Grove on Saturday night (January 12).

Following a call for a takeaway pizza, the victim arrived at the house at around 9.20pm and he was approached and threatened outside with a large knife.

The suspect, a white man aged about 18, was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers, and left the scene with the pizza.

Detective Constable Juliette Wright said: "The victim was visibly shaken following this incident and we are following up a number of lines of enquiry to trace the suspect.

"However, we would urge anyone with any information to come forward as soon as possible."

This is not the 1st time this type of crime has happened in the Ash area.

What is it coming to when the criminals cannot be bothered to go out to find their victims but simply phone for the victims to come to them!

Well the article does say that the SUSPECT left the scene with the pizza.

No mention of the cash but I beleve that Pizza Delivery people carry little case with them, and possibly none if the Pizza has been ordered and paid for over the internet.
