Tributes paid to father in Eversley Cross crash

TRIBUTES have been paid to a man in his 60s who died after crashing his car into a tree off a main road in Eversley Cross.
The driver Stuart Arnott, 63, from Woodley, went off the road at around 11.50pm on January 12 in his black Honda Insight. He was travelling north on the A327 when the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree outside Busta Farm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is yet to be established why the 63-year-old from Highgate Road, Southlake, went off the road.
In a statement, Mr Arnott’s family said: “We are completely devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our father.
“He will be sadly missed by all the family and those that knew him.
“He was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother. Rest in peace Dad.
“We would ask that our privacy be respected at this sad time.”
The police are appealing for witnesses who saw the crash near Yateley, or the vehicle prior to i.
