US court hearing for man charged with 'lewd act'

A FLEET man has appeared in court for a third time facing charges of having sexual encounters in the United States with a 13-year-old girl he reportedly met online.
Adam James Michael Robinson is accused of committing a "lewd act upon a child" six times last December 15.
The 21-year-old appeared at San Bernardino Superior Court in California on Thursday, February 21 for a reset hearing. He appeared in the same court on New Year's Eve, where he denied all six charges.
Mr Robinson, who is accused of meeting the girl online before the alleged offences took place in a motel in Redlands, California, will next appear in court for a pre-preliminary hearing on March 21.
