Aldershot agency Martin & Co move in the right direction

THE owners and staff at Martin and Company in Aldershot are celebrating a successful first year of trading, having completed more than 130 moves.
James Wiggins, co-owner of the branch, said: “The past year has flown by – it’s hard to believe we had only just opened our doors a year ago.
“We are pleased to have helped so many people move and assist landlords who are demanding a higher level of customer service and dedication from their letting agent.”
The estate agency sent out customer questionnaires to all the landlords who have used its services and all who participated rated Martin and Co as either “very good” or “excellent”.
Impressed
One landlord stated: “You are doing a great job, keep it going! My tenants were also very impressed with the service they received. Thanks.”
Another said: “This has been my first venture into property rentals.
“I have been very happy with the whole package.
“Both James and Richard of Martin and Company, Aldershot, have been first rate. I am looking for another property and would not use anyone else.”
The company is a member of the national approved lettings scheme and the Ombudsman for Lettings. It also runs a full client money protection scheme and has professional indemnity insurance in place.
“The lettings market is still extremely busy and we would urge anyone looking to rent out a property to contact us.
“We can assure you of a first-class service where you will deal directly with the owners of the business,” co-owner Richard Oldaker said.
Martin and Co is currently running a “let it fast or let it free” promotion. If a let is not agreed within 30 days on any property instruction accepted in March or April, the agent will waive the letting fee.
The company will also provide a free, six-month rent guarantee insurance policy to any landlord who takes up either a fully managed or rent collection service.
James added: “In these uncertain times it is so important we take every step possible to make sure our landlords’ rental income is protected. Rent guarantee insurance is just one of the steps we take to make sure our landlords are looked after.”
