Aldershot Town land Hall in deadline day swoop
By Jon CouchJanuary 31, 2013
ALDERSHOT Town boss Dean Holdsworth has moved swiftly to fill the void left by loanee Michael Hector by bringing in experienced midfield ace Asa Hall.
Hall, 26, arrives on a loan deal from League One Shrewsbury Town until the end of the season after Hector turned down the chance to extend his deal with the Shots and returned to Reading.
Hall, the 6ft 2in former England under 19 and under 20 international, has made more than 200 first-team appearances including spells at Luton Town and Oxford United.
Holdsworth said: “Asa is a player who has been working in a division above us which is good experience for him. He is coming to us at the right time.
"He has a lot of desire to show that his career is going in the right direction. He is a good competitor and has a goal or two in him too.”
