FARNBOROUGH FC'S administrators have said the club is winning the battle to start next season on an even keel – and with its Conference status intact.

Gareth Howarth, representing administrators Walsh Taylor, told the News & Mail that two credible consortiums had expressed an interest in buying the club – and shown proof of funds – although no firm offer has been placed.
