Day warns 'mercenaries' not to contact Farnborough

SPENCER DAY has fired a warning to any potential player wanting to make a quick buck next season – Farnborough is not the place for them.

The Boro boss admitted he had been disappointed by the financial wage demands of some of the players he has spoken to about contracts for next season, and insisted he would not put the club’s future in doubt for the sake of over-inflated pay cheques.
