Aldershot Town FC beaten 3-1 away at Forest Green as Boro are also beaten by rivals Basingstoke
Aldershot's five match unbeaten run in all competitions came to a shuddering halt on Boxing Day when they went down 3-1 away to Forest Green Rovers.
Two goals from Marcus Kelly sandwiched a Jordan Roberts equaliser before James Norwood scored for the home side in the last minute to seal the win.
Forest Green took the lead after 12 minutes when Kelly fired home from the edge of the area before Roberts headed in Chris Barker's corner just before half-time.
However, Kelly scored his second on 77 minutes when he chipped the ball over the on-rushing Jonathan Henly before Norwood latched on to a pass over the Aldershot defence and lofted the ball over the goalkeeper.
The Shots remain outside the Skrill Premier's relegation zone in 21st place but will be looking to bounce back against Welling on Saturday (December 28).
There was even less for Farnborough fans to cheer about as they saw their side thumped 4-0 in the Skrill South by nearby rivals, Basingstoke.
Farnborough went behind after just six minutes and found themselves three down after 34 minutes before substitute Louie Soares scored a fourth in the final minute.
The result leaves Farnborough in 16th place ahead of Saturday's tie against Havant & Waterlooville who are six places, but only three points above the Cherrywood Road side in a congested mid-table.
