Bridges Estate Agents have become the new Aldershot Town FC shirt sponsors
Aldershot Town have been building Bridges in their search for a new title sponsor – and can now finally see beyond the troubled waters of the summer.
The Shots unveiled Bridges Estate Agents as their new shirt sponsors prior to the victory over Woking on Monday, after the local sales and letting firm penned a three-year deal.
With six offices in the Surrey-Hampshire region – in Aldershot, Ash Vale, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham and Fleet – Bridges is one of the area’s premier agents and has even designed a new red and blue 'For Sale' board to mark the occasion.
Joint owner Tony Raffermati, who stood on the East Bank to watch the club at the age of nine, said: “We were offered the chance to be presented to the fans carrying, with huge pride, the new kit with our company logo.
“The incredible reception we got from the Aldershot fans in the East Bank is something we will never forget, they were just brilliant.
"We had our families and some of our amazing staff with us and they have all told us that they felt the same.
“No other fans sing like the Aldershot fans do. There is something very special about this club and the community and we are delighted to be sponsors of Aldershot Town FC.”
Shots chairman Shahid Azeem added: “We are delighted as this is a perfect fit between ourselves and Bridges.
"We would of course like to thank Tim Elliott of EBB who has sponsored the shirts on previous occasions.
"He will be having a break for now but I know he will still be supporting the club.
“On speaking to Tony and Carlo we realised that they are totally committed to the Shots and to the town of Aldershot and the borough of Rushmoor.
“They are local people, they care for the club and they want to be involved.
"They have several branches around the area and we are very grateful to them for their support and the aspect of marketing that they also will bring to the club.”
