After a hard-fought draw against Gateshead on Tuesday night, Aldershot Town host high-flying Kidderminster Harriers this weekend, hoping to take another step towards safety in the Skrill Premier.

Manager Andy Scott felt his team had earned a point rather than lost two in their battle to avoid relegation, and few would argue after it took an injury-time penalty save from goalkeeper Glen Morris for Shots to leave the north east on level terms.

Although their next game will involve a much shorter trip, the task is no more simple for Aldershot Town, as Kidderminster have their sights on maintaining their current position in the top five.

Hungry for the latest on the Shots' preparations for Saturday's Conference 3pm kick-off, sport editor Jon Couch caught up with the boss at the ESS Stadium.
