Idris Kanu celebrated his 17th birthday in style in the 2-0 win over Boreham Wood by smashing his third goal in Aldershot Town colours - setting pulses racing once again.
The forward turned heads when he signed for Aldershot Town having gone on trial at Manchester United in September after coming through the ranks at West Ham.
Although it might be considered unusual for such a young talent to ply his trade in the National League, Kanu has gone from strength to strength and bagged his third goal on Saturday when he picked up a superb long ball from Matt McClure, going past his marker like he didn't exist before smashing the ball past the goalkeeper.
It's easy to see why the Red Devils were so interested in the youngster and it wouldn't be surprising if another one of England's big boys came looking at the wonderkid as he gains more and more attention for his antics with Aldershot.
We spoke to the man himself at the end of November where he spoke about working with Gary Waddock , his role models and just why he chose Aldershot Town and National League football over United's U18s.
