ALDERSHOT Town could be fielding a fresh young face when they return to action this Saturday at Harrow Borough.

Assistant boss Stuart Cash went on a successful scouting mission to look at a young right winger currently playing for a smaller club and as a result of boss Terry Brown's long-term interest, talks are on-going.

While the Shots were out of action this Saturday, Brown was at a Conference game eying up a striker target but it is unlikely that any deal will be done in time for the Harrow visit.

Meanwhile, Brown will be without centre backs Ray Warburton and Jason Cousins for the Harrow trip.

Warburton has a one-match ban for accumulating five bookings while Cousins' ankle wound has become infected.

Canvey Island kept the pressure on Aldershot and closed the gap at the top of the table to four points on Saturday after a 4-2 win at Braintree.

l Striker Paul Moody has signed his release forms and has now officially left the club.
