Tomato fall help was appreciated
31/ 7/2008
On Sunday June 29 at about 12.30pm I was walking quickly from Queensmead to Princesmead carrying some shopping when I slipped on a discarded piece of tomato not far from the sports shop JJB Sports.
I fell on my left wrist.
Several people around me immediately came to help me. They got me back on my feet and some walked with me.
On getting back to my car I realised I couldn’t drive and rang my husband. Another lady passing by offered to stay with me.
The outcome of my fall was that I had broken my left wrist.
I would like to thank all those people that offered me help on that day. Their help made a very bad experience bearable, but I do wish the person that dropped the tomato had been a little more thoughtful.
