Why not make the most of your next night out and treat yourself to a show-stopping theatre and dinner experience, providing an evening of comedy and musical entertainment.

From the creators of the hit TV series, Friends, and the composers of hit musicals Wicked and Sister Act, Personals is a witty musical exploring dating, relationships and the search for love – just perfect in the run-up to Valentine’s Day.

The show is being staged at The Crown & Cushion pub in Minley, near Frimley, from February 11–13 as part of the Theatre-Dinner Experience from Creative Minds Productions.

“Our Theatre-Dinner Experience is a way of bringing theatre to our local community in a way that is interesting, fun and slightly different,” said producer and performer, Polly King. “We provide the entertainment, the venue provide the food and drink, you provide the audience! “The atmosphere at The Crown & Cushion is comfortable and relaxed and the food is excellent. It isn’t about being in a “proper theatre” or watching “actors on stage” but about presenting something that the audience can connect with and laugh about, with us.”

Creative Minds Productions has been producing community theatre and musical performances since 2005 and during that time they have raised nearly £5,000 for charities including the local Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in memory of theatre friends and family.

The aim of the company is to provide quality entertainment in unusual spaces making theatre accessible for everyone.

Personals is a musical revue based on Personal Ads placed on dating websites and newspapers. With music from Menken and Schwartz and a script from the writers of Friends, Personals has “nothing to do with love”, but more to do with the search for a lasting relationship, the dates you meet and the adventures along the way.

Tell your friends and book a date now. The box office is open on 01252 545253.
